When Jeremiah Owyang decided to leave the Altimeter Group (from what I hear a very successful firm) last December to start a new venture, many took notice. Owyang’s new start-up called, Crowd Companies is a brand council whose primary function is to help big brands understand, then connect with startups in the Collaborative Economy.
